Jaaj is right; a lot depends on your email provider, as well as your settings. Even whether you have auto-complete turned on on your browser can make a difference.

My email provider is good ole YAHOO.? computer I have auto complete on for completing web forms with my name & address, but don't think this has to do with adding addresses when sending mail out(?) thinking as it is in the Google tool bar.

I'm thinking that if you have auto-complete turned on with your internet browser (i.e: Internet Explorer, Firefox...), that is why you continue to see the deleted contacts show up while you type. You would have to go to tools and find the option to turn it off. Otherwise, you could go to your email provider and click on contacts to verify that the people you have deleted are no longer listed.

I thought the Auto Fill was only for putting your own name & address etc. in forms, like when i do reservations and contest etc. thinking I guess i could shut it off & try it to see if it eliminates contact addresses, don\'t know but i like my auto fill.
