I'm familiar with several of the ghost towns on that site.
Colorado and Arizona were meccas for prospectors.

That's one of the things I like about Y/A ,the stories of the people who actually lived them, those experiences are much more real to me than all the tourist brochures put together.

there must be a lot of interesting stuff still laying around,I suppose a lot of it would have been swiped,I know I would find it hard not to souvenier one or two things given the chance.

Oddly enough... I am being informed I live within five miles of a ghost town and there are protected buildings... yet... I have no clue about it or where the buildings could possibly be. Shocked
