ADOBE "FLASH" ITEMS...

Post by Ja'aj on Mon Jul 12, 2010 3:45 am

FYI...
If any of us have "Adobe Flash/Shockwave" products
(Adobe Shockwave; Adobe FlashPlayer, Adobe MacroMedia player...)
as plug-ins to their browsers (FIREFOX uses them):
Adobe Flashplayer 10.0 is GREAT.

Adobe Flashplayer 10.01 is NOT great. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
It is BETA.
It is (IMO) a p.o.s. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ... just so you know...

Yes... probably you have the 10.-something...
(known as 10.0 in toto)
NO WAY should you allow them to sneak in their
LOUSY! 10.1 [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] (Miserable !#%$!! BETA p.o.s.)

Thanks for the warning JJ. happy dance
I have that one ... version 10.0 ... I think. computer
(I'm like Breezey ... as long as it works, I'm good.)
Sometimes, these "updates" are not all they are cracked-up to be! ((I learned that the hard way!))

Did you ever stop to think ...

Hi, Jack,
You're welcome (YUP, I recall IE8 and the horror of it all)
YEAH. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
And they didn't ASK me - (I'd been saying "no thanks")
apparently too politely.

BUT...
I almost never totally delete an application - [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
(Yes... my houseeeping for Ol' Mo closely resembles
my housekeeping at home...)
BUT, I say, since 10.0 isn't ANYWHERE - not on Adobe's site
and not on OldVersion [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] - I've seen comments about it
not being ANYWHERE...
it seems I'm not the only one un-enamored with 10.1 (YUCK)

I FINALLY FOUND MINE - in it's BOX. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
So...
If anyone gets sneak-attacked as I did [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.],

I HAVE IT!! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] and will be happy to transport a copy
(somehow ?) to anyone who wants it. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
