The Apple Chart

It's just a picture that tells you all of the apples
between most sweet and most tart.
Definitely worth printing and sticking with the recipes.
(For when apple orchard season starts)

I always preferred the tart ones; we had a Mcintosh apple tree in our backyard when we were growing up.
Guess that's why my favorite is the Granny Smith!

I'm a Red Delicious fan myself. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I've never heard of - or seen- a Pink Lady.
Are they crisp? Fuji's are too mushy for me.

... Now that I read the chart ... there's a BUNCH!
of 'em I'm not familar with...

good chart but missing my favourite ,johnathans, juicy, slightly tart ,tasty apples of just the right size ,not to big. had them for years but not finding any lately.
and THE best were off a tree that lived in the chook yard .automatic fertilisation.
